Tag Me!

There have been a few days where my husband has come home from a day at school or work and with one look at me he says "Tag me." No other words pass between us. I merely give him a look of desperation, grab my keys and walk out the door. I usually feel a little guilty the moment my foot hit the gas pedal, but I figure it's better that I leave for a few moments and regain my composure rather than have my head explode.
I have always wanted to be a mother. It is and always has been my career/job/vocation of choice. Ever since I was a little girl I dreamed of the day that I would have a handsome husband and gorgeous little angels running around my feet. I am grateful for what I have and most of the time I enjoy what I do. I guess I just thought I would be better at this whole "parenting" thing.

One of my goals right now is to wake up every day with a "clean slate" attitude. I make way too many mistakes throughout the day to count and sometimes I feel like I am totally blowing it in the mommy department. But thankfully kids forget the majority of their childhood and I can always try to be better.
This clip from Nacho Libre is a good illustration of how I feel at the end of a long day with the kids. Thank you dear husband for being the Esqueleto to my Nacho!
