Stupid Daylight Saving!

This is a bit of a ranting post, but seriously! Daylight saving?!

Twice a year my whole world gets flipped upside down for weeks at a time. If you have children, you understand that changing your whole schedule an hour one direction or another always causes craziness to ensue. I have always heard that they did it for the farmers. Well, the last time I checked, they worked from sun-up to sun-down and it doesn't really matter what the numbers on the clock say.

I have also heard that it is for the children who have to wait for the bus in the early morning hours. This may be a little more feasible, but is it really worth it?

My 5 month old baby is screaming in the other room and, quite honestly, I want to scream too. If you are not already dealing with sickness, teething, growth spurts, traveling, holidays, school schedules, work schedules and everything in between, you have to throw in this curve ball and try to deal with it. I vote that we abolish daylight saving and deal with natural time. Who's with me?

Also, I like to watch this clip around the time of year that daylight saving occurs. It helps to ease the pain a bit when I know that other people feel the same confusion as I. Maybe I should just move to Arizona. They seem to have it all together.
